Let's look at the story of God commanding Abraham to sacrifice his son, Isaac. Jews look at the story as a test of obedience; Christians see the story as a parallel to the Passion. It also comes down to one thing: faith. And for Ryan Levi, that faith is both inspiring and disturbing.

I don’t think it’s a good idea to surround yourself with like-minded believers more than half the time or so. Doing so can reinforce some attitudes which you assume are widely shared but aren’t, and give birth to a righteous attitude. We only grow by stepping out of our comfort zones and actually listening to others, IMHO.

I answered “most”, but you need to sharpen your pencil a bit. Most would think of themselves as “Christian”, but if you get to details - substantial issues - of doctrine, it would no longer be a majority.
In order for me to consider myself overly like minded, well, I would be telling a big fib.
Goose stepping is for geese. Wait, no. Not even geese actually DO that.

I didn’t answer, because I have no idea. Probably somewhere between “some” and “most” of my friends are atheists, but I generally only find out by accident or coincidence.

I say “most” pretty generally… meaning that most of my pals are Christian-ish. But we sure are diverse under that umbrella, and I have lots of friends and acquaintances from all walks of faiths/beliefs.
