Musical equipment stolen from Ashland-area church

Living Faith Church on Route Y was burglarized Tuesday night, according to a news release from the Boone County Sheriff's Department.

When the pastor got to the church Wednesday morning, he found an outside door forced open, and a keyboard, other musical items and an empty safe were missing. Other valuable items were stacked outside the church. According to the news release, this could mean the burglars thought their actions had been discovered.

The church was left secure around 8 p.m. Tuesday night, and Sheriff's deputies think the burglary happend around midnight, the release stated.

Anyone with information about the burglary should contact the Sheriff's Department at 875-1111 or CrimeStoppers at 875-TIPS. A reward is being offered.
